Tacoma Pierce County Chaplaincy (TPCC) is a faith-based 501(c)(3) organization, registered and incorporated in the State of Washington, servicing the Greater Pierce County area which is comprised of approximately 800,000 residents.
As a faith-based ministry to the hurting, Tacoma-Pierce County Chaplaincy receives no public funds to provide services. We are dependent upon the generous gifts of individuals, our Department personnel, churches, foundations and service clubs.
Your one-time or regular tax-deductible gifts to TPCC, a registered 501(c)(3), enable us to continue serving without any financial obligation to the victims, victim families or emergency responders who make such a significant contribution to the safety and well-being of our society.
TPCC receives no government funding. However, a major portion of its support is from the strategic alliances between TPCC and its partner agencies. Approximately 55% of TPCC support is from public safety personnel of the respective agencies, through voluntary payroll deductions. Approximately 20% is received from local and regional foundations.. The remaining percentage of funding comes from individual donors, churches, civic organizations, local businesses, and fund raising events. |
