Chaplain Wilby Casey began his service as a volunteer with the Tacoma Fire Department in January of 1981. Soon after, in 1986, he became a full time chaplain with T-PCC.
Chaplain Casey serves the firefighters of the Tacoma Fire Department in times of need and also responds with the Department in times of death and other crises.
Chaplain Casey is an integral and important part of the service provided by the Tacoma Fire Department. His mission is “to be visible and available to those in need.”
As the chaplaincy receives no public funding, it is funded entirely by donations. In spite of that, the T-PCC works diligently to keep chaplains available around the clock for families in their time of need.
